PLEASE HELPI have what I believe is a Qing Dynasty Tongzhi ginger jar; I have been only able to find a few like it and a few translations of the markings on the bottom which leads me to believe it is older (1862-1874?)than I thought it was. Am I right about what I have found out so and what would an item like this usually be priced at? Submit your estimate of worth |

Hi, I really don't know how old the jar is but I would estimate the value between $30 to $100. Most that I have seen sold range in the $30 to $50. Here are a couple of examples: http://www.antiquesnavigator.com/d-1505936/christie-yangzhitang-collection-of-imperial-porcelain-of-the-late-qing-dynasty.html http://www.antiquesnavigator.com/d-1849506/chinese-qing-dynasty-famille-rose-porcelain-big-jar.html I hope this helps, Thanks, |
